Leaves in the Rain

Have you ever noticed how leaves will flip over before it rains?

English:

A short poetic walking sim made in the bitsy 3d hack for the Brussels Game Jam 2024. The event's page is currently empty because Itch had an outage right as we were all supposed to submit our games (figures lol).

This was my first experience with bitsy 3d as well as my first game jam and I'm really happy with the result! It has a total of four rooms for you to interact with by walking into the white sprites and through the portals.

The collision response is a little wonky so it may take a few tries from different angles to activate dialogue for the white sprites, but I promise you they are there ! Also beware that bitsy seems to have some kinda bug that blocks the game from going forward if you fullscreen it before having gone past the first few lines of dialogue...

Un petit walking sim poétique réalisé dans le hack bitsy 3d pour la Brussels Game Jam 2024. La page de l'événement est actuellement vide car Itch a eu une panne juste au moment où nous devions tous soumettre nos jeux (évidemment lol).

C'était ma première expérience avec bitsy 3d ainsi que ma première game jam et je suis super content du résultat ! Il y a un total de quatre pièces avec lesquelles vous pouvez intéragir en marchant dans les sprites blancs et à travers les portails.

La réponse aux collisions est un peu bancale, il faudra donc peut être quelques essais sous différents angles pour activer les dialogues pour les sprites blancs, mais je vous promets qu'ils sont là ! Faites aussi attention à ne pas aller en mode plein écran avant d'avoir lu les premières lignes de dialogue, il semble que bitsy a un bug qui bloque le jeu quand il est mis en mode plein écran trop tôt...

Move with *WASD/ARROWS

Hold LEFT CLICK to rotate camera

Hold RIGHT CLICK to move camera

Press ENTER to read more dialogue

Walk into white objects to interact with them

*Note: WASD only applies if you have a QWERTY keyboard or you change your keyboard's layout.
